“The apartment is spacious, comfortable, very clean and a well equipped kitchen. Very tranquil, with good parking in the private courtyard. Location was very convenient about 5-10 minutes to the M4”

“Great place to stay. We loved being at Hitchambury Manor. It was quiet and in the country and very near historic Taplow. The grounds were also nice to walk around and stretch our legs. Highly recommend it!”

“A perfect little unit for a single person or couple, gives you everything you need and a place that feels like home, plus the beautiful property it is located on and the wildlife you will see ( I came outside one day to a baby deer sleeping in front of my unit!!). Also not far from M40 & other main travel connections.”

“An oasis of calm and peacefulness.
Living in a charming old manor truly feels like experiencing Britain’s magical countryside while enjoying the geographic proximity of London.
Everything is just as it should be. Rooms are quiet, comfortable and spacious.
Stayed for half a year and really enjoyed living there among trees, horses and deers. This is surely a great opportunity for people looking for a short term accommodation.
The management are passionate people who manage the place as it should be to preserve its cachet and high standards.
Excellent experience ! ”

“Hitchambury Manor is a large beautiful house set in extensive grounds. It is quiet, peaceful and idyllic and yet conveniently only minutes away from mainline rail services and the M4. The facilities are excellent and the kitchens and shower rooms clean and well maintained. The management is welcoming, helpful, well organised and prompt in their responses when needed. I stayed 8 months in a comfortable room with magnificent views over the rear garden to the trees and fields beyond. I hope work brings me to the area again so that I can spend more time at Hitchambury Manor, it was a privilege.”

“I stayed at Hitchambury Manor when a property purchase was delayed for a period of 6 weeks. I found the accommodation to be of a good standard, well managed and homely whilst being very cost effective and an ideal stopgap. Subsequently through my work, I have placed several overseas staff at Hitchambury Manor for many weeks at a time and received consistently good feedback whilst having accommodation available as I needed it for my team. Highly recommended.”

“As you drive through the lovely village of Taplow and turn into Hunts Lane, you are suddenly greeted by the beauty of Hitchambury Manor, peacefully tucked away in its own estate’s grounds. We have visited the Manor since 2007, as it is conveniently placed for easy access to the M4, M40 and the main rail links. It also offers all the facilities that we require during our visits.
The manor house offers excellent on-site facilities including ample parking, a fully equipped laundry, fully equipped kitchens and well appointed shower-room facilities. And the central heating ensures essential warmth during the winter months. All of the rooms are regularly serviced, as is the rest of the manor house. Furthermore, the on-site management ensures that any concerns during your stay will be taken care of promptly and efficiently.
Our most recent visit to the manor house offered us a beautifully appointed room that overlooked the grounds at the back of the manor, from which we often watched grazing deer through the large window. The room was quiet and peaceful and had ample cupboard space, a fridge, coffee making facilities, a large flat screen television, a modern dining table and chairs, as well as a comfortable couch for watching television. During our stay, it was an absolute pleasure to arrive back at the manor after a busy day, greeted only by the quiet, peaceful manor and the countryside. Worth every penny!
We definitely look forward to our next visit. It comes highly recommended by us.”

“Hitchambury Manor is beautiful. Set in idyllic surroundings. Perfectly situated. Far enough out to feel rural and peaceful yet close enough to town to get where you want to go in minutes. Its within walking distance to the local pub and a 2 minute taxi ride to the main line station. 5 minutes to the M4 (junction 7)!
Loved my time so much that my plan to stay for a month which lasted a year. There is the company of others when you want it and privacy when you don’t. The comfiest beds ever!”
