The area around Hitchambury Manor is steeped in history,  with country houses, royal homes and gardens.  Taplow itself sits on the edge of an area of special scientific interest, Burnham Beeches.  Hitchambury Manor is also well situated to visit some of the best restaurants in the country, with chefs such as the Roux brothers, Tom Kerridge, Heston Blumenthal and Atul Kochhar to name a few.
